Origin - 源起

這個網站對我而言，不僅僅是一份作品集，更像是一段實踐影像構思與理想的過程見證。

我從小就熱愛攝影，相機一直是我觀察世界的方式；而在 2010 年，我又一腳踏入了重金屬音樂的世界。這兩項長期的熱愛，終於在 2014 年找到了交集——那年我開始了第一場隨團記錄，陸續拍下自己看過的每一場演出。起初只是為了留作紀念，但隨著時間推移，不知不覺中，鏡頭也參與了這十幾年來台灣金屬場景的演變。那些來來去去的樂團、台下樂迷的臉孔，有太多畫面在按下快門的那一刻，就成了無法複製的歷史。能在這些珍貴的瞬間裡留下紀錄，對我而言就是攝影最重要的價值。

我很享受一邊拍照一邊聽歌的過程。在台下，看著樂手們毫無保留地釋放專注與熱情，在聚光燈下發光，那是音樂與畫面最純粹的共鳴。我希望我的作品，能如實傳遞出這份對獨立音樂圈的深刻情感，甚至讓更多人看見這個曲風背後蘊含的細膩與張力。

對影像的探索不僅限於舞台。自然環境、社會觀察與生命的消長，也都是我持續關注並默默記錄的主題。這些影像或許與主流商業無關，卻是我關心這片土地、與世界對話的管道。我希望透過鏡頭，除了捕捉眼前的畫面，也能傳達出畫面背後的敘事。

雖然日常的生活總是忙碌，但我從未忘記過自己為什麼拿起相機。這個網站，就是我影像旅程的起點。

I’ve loved photography since childhood. The camera has always been my lens for observing the world. In 2010, I found myself drawn into the heavy metal scene. These two lifelong passions finally merged in 2014, when I took on my first gig as a touring photographer. From then on, I began documenting nearly every live show I attended. What began simply as a way to preserve memories has quietly grown into a decade-long archive of Taiwan’s evolving metal scene. I have watched bands come and go, alongside countless faces in the crowd. So many of these fleeting moments turn into irreplaceable history the second the shutter clicks. Capturing these precious traces is, to me, the true essence of photography.

There is a unique joy in shooting a live gig. Standing in the crowd, I watch musicians pour their absolute focus and raw energy into the spotlight. This is the purest resonance between sound and sight. I hope my work faithfully conveys my deep connection to this scene, and perhaps helps others appreciate the intricate nuances and raw intensity of the genre.

My visual exploration also extends beyond the stage. I’ve always quietly documented natural landscapes, social observations, and the inevitable cycles of life. While these subjects may not be commercially driven, they are my way of connecting with the land and engaging with the world. Through my lens, I want to capture more than just what's in the frame. I want to convey the story behind it.

Life is endlessly busy, but I’ve never forgotten why I first picked up a camera. This website is the starting point of that ongoing journey.
